The Agronomic Approach

Douglass is not here to simply sell products. Douglass is here to partner with each grower to develop an agronomic plan that makes sense for that individual grower. This includes a prescription blend of fertilizer, tailored to each grower, and correctly timed application. Direction for this approach starts at the top; not only is virtually every member of the sales force a Certified Crop Advisor, but the President of Douglass is as well.

Storage Capacities & Advantages

With Douglass Fertilizer's 3,000,000-gallon storage capacity, we are able to stay ahead of our customers' needs. Instead of only producing as orders are received, we can anticipate the season's and individual customer's demands, then purchase in larger quantities. This lowers cost and gives us more flexibility and unmatched customer service.

Transportation

A very vital part of the Douglass Fertilizer delivery and service story is our large contemporary fleet of trucks, 130+ tankers, tank trailers and flatbeds . We maintain our own Service and Repair Shop. In addition to our trucking abilities, all 3 major production facilities have rail-side service.

Sunglo

Sunglo foliar liquid nutritionals are designed for maximum uptake of primary and secondary nutrients. Both standard mixes and custom blends are available in economical bulk and mini-bulk containers.

Agricultural Chemicals

The other half of our name, as you have probably noticed, is CHEMICALS. We are a major supplier in the sales and distribution of ag chemicals. Douglass sells big and small brand names, as well as some generics. We know chemicals and can make the correct recommendations to fit your individual need based upon crop and environmental criteria.
